Dr Tom Graham

Training & Accreditation

I trained as a Counselling Psychologist at Roehampton University and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, Kings College London. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and accredited by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

Clinical Experience

After 10 years at South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, initially working at Southwark Talking Therapies and then with Professor David Veale’s team at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma, I joined Professor Paul Salkovskis’ team at Oxford Health Specialist Psychological Intervention Centre and Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre, where I am currently based for my NHS work.

Specialist Expertise

My work in specialist NHS services has led to clinical expertise in treating anxiety disorders, and I have helped many people struggling with OCD, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. For many years I have also worked alongside Dr Jane Gregory in researching and treating misophonia, and I am among a small number of clinical experts in this area.

Teaching & Supervision

I have provided teaching and supervision to Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Doctoral, and Masters students, as well as delivering workshops and webinars to NHS teams and third sector organisations, such as OCD-UK and Age UK. I currently provide teaching and supervision to trainees and qualified clinicians in my role at Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.
